I love how your pose and the angle seem to give a sense of distortion and the foreshortening has messed with the scale in such an effective way, it means the whole image really works well with the mix of emotions in your expression which seems to be a wonderful conflict between hesitance/wariness (which is backed up by the arm around you and the hand on your shoulder) and pride/confrontational.
The tone of this image is brilliant too, the B&W just helps simplify everything down and really focuses the viewer and gives that wonderful expression SO much impact.
