A photo I took in Kat's house this weekend, while visiting. I love the staircase in her house.

I think this might be my first submission to this category. w00t for diversity!

I like the complex look of it. The composition really keeps your eye moving, and trying to figure out what's going on. Nice job.

I thought so too. I had to take a picture, as weird as it was to be kinda laying on the stairs going to the basement and taking a picture from a weird angle. As I was doing it, Kat's friend Sabrina just walked in the door and was like "uh...hi ben" so that was my cue to stop beig weird and get up from my weird laying on the stairs position.

hhhhhhhhhhh.... okay, this is fav'd simply because of two things.

1 - the texture in this stands out to me. the stucco on the first floor and basement stair ceilings match eath other and serve as compliments. then the stucco on the second floor, although the same material, has a completely different feel to it. it seems softer and... i dont know. i could go on for hours prolly, but again i'd prolly hafto show you in person.

2 - the shapes created. it reminds me of a braid, of sorts... i see 3 sections overlapping and merging together and it's just... very... appealing. if that makes sense. i think it also has something to do with the repeating shapes of the bannister.

okay, im going to stop before i ramble incessantly. in any case, clearly, well done.
